We're a small family run manufacturing company based in Pinellas Park, Florida.

Our core product line is high quality, hand crafted refrigerator magnets.  We make other small shell and gift novelty items, but magnets are primarily what we make.  We are the largest manufacturer of magnets in the US!

The company began in 1978 as a true garage start up.  As the business grew, we moved facilities twice to where we are now.  Through the years we have sold to many different types of shops from small mom and pop gift shops to theme parks to major retailers.  We pride ourselves on providing a quality, handcrafted magnet which is manufactured here in the USA!

The principals are Rick and Judy Renaud.  Judy is the daughter of Kathy Laurence, the founder of the company.  Rick joined the company in 1994 and is Vice President and CFO.  Judy is President and oversees operations and sales.  Currently there are 12 employees and about 40 contract laborers.

Here at J&K Novelty, we strive to reuse and recycle everything we can!  We use newspapers for our shipping and reuse every plastic bag and scrap of paper possible.  All the cardboard that comes into our warehouse is either cut to use on product or re-used to ship in.  We don't use paper or plastic in our kitchen; we use regular cutlery and plates that we wash.  We care about the environment!
